Questions we get
Does a private collector cost extra?
No. It is counted as a host if you also monitor the machine it runs on, and not at all otherwise.
Is ingest traffic metered?
No. Agents and collectors push as much as the plan's rate ceiling allows; egress is not billed separately.
Can we keep data in our own region?
On Scale, pin agents to a regional collector and run that collector yourself. Aggregation then receives only what you forward, and you choose which endpoint that is.
Annual billing?
Ten months for twelve, invoiced in EUR or USD. VAT is added for EU customers without a valid VAT ID.
